For what you're paying for I'll say it's great! Portion sizing is good. Naans have a great texture with a generous amount of cheese. Butter chicken isn't overly sweet and has a nice tomato taste and texture! Overall, i'd happily recommend this place. No rip offs, great food!!!!

Went to this place for dinner on 20/12/2025 as we were passing through heading south. Highly recommend! I don't normally write reviews. We had 4 different curries + 3x nann bread and only cost $54. All were fantastic! Very generous with the meat in the curries.

I loved the taste of their Bangladeshi food items. I tried goat kacchi biriyani, tehari, mango lassi and gulab jamun and all of these had authentic Bangladeshi taste.

Nice food, clean place, and friendly staff. The mango lassi has to be one of the best ones I've tasted in Australia! Oh, and of course, value for $$

A fantastic spot in Newcastle for enjoying delectable curries. Their naan breads are impeccably soft and perfectly cooked. The Morog Polao, a Bangladeshi pilaf rice with spiced chicken, is absolutely irresistible. Their Kacchi Biriyani, another traditional Bangladeshi Biriyani, boasts an authentic flavor. The friendly staff and comfortable dining environment make it an ideal choice for a meal with family and friends, whether it's lunch or dinner.

Visited this place the other day with my partner. We ordered the butter chicken, cheese naan, aloo matar (potato and peas) and rice. My partner enjoyed the butter chicken (i personally found it a bit too sweet) and i loved the potato and peas curry. It was robust in flavour and very savoury. We also loved the cheese naans - they were so fluffy yet dense and were very big and generous with the serving. Atmosphere was alright, some of the chairs were squeaky and not sturdy and their plates were childish which I’m not mad about but was taken aback as I’ve never seen that before in a restaurant. The owner and workers were very friendly and nice too. We ordered dinner from them again tonight and definitely recommend them!!

Fresh and delicious, would definitely be one of the best takeaway Indian restaurants in Newcastle. Great variety of both meat and vegetarian curries and very fairly priced. Will definitely be back to try more dishes.
